Ferrari, Audi, BMW and... a honda!

"The owner parked it in first gear, and wouldn't you know, when you do that you can't re-start it without going through a whole process. Boo."

there's no chance on me ever owning a Ferrari. could you please explain the process of the whole re-start thing to those who don't have a Ferarri F430?

You have mastered your system of perfection! Nice touches on the TT under the hood. The ledge with the shock tower even looks polished!

That yellow TT looks beautiful, my favorite of all the ones in this post! Great work, I'm always impressed...

All vehicles look quite exceptional!

How did you apply the Z-AIO? My G needs some and I'm looking for the best application process on paint.

I have no idea, heh. Neither did he actually, he had it written down somewhere. The joys of exotics. I actually had a client with a Gallardo who stalled it and couldn't re-start it for 30 minutes. :)

Sounds good, I'll be waiting for it.

Thanks for sharing.

Alright so here is what I think of them so far. Keep in mind I've only used hd-cleanse and concours on two cars so I need more experience, but my initial impressions are... The look is really nice, the two cars I put it on were red (this 360) and black (Ford GT); it's a very deep, clear look similar to Souveran in wetness, but much clearer in the sense than it doesn't seem to distort reflections at all. The depth is very good.

Usage takes some getting used to, I need some more time with it. HD-cleanse is easy to use, just apply with some light pressure until it gets sort of grabby, then wipe off. Councours is a bit trickier, the by hand thing takes some getting used to, but removal is easy. The one issue I had is it can leave some yellow dust behind if your cloth gets saturated, so you need to change mf's a lot.

Overall I like it so far, I will keep using it for sure.

I apply it the same way I apply prime.

PC and a white pad, very, very, VERY small dab on the pad (like less than a dime per panel), apply over panel at low speed, work in at speed 5-6 until clear, move to next panel and repeat. When you're done the car it's pretty much ready to come off. Very easy to use. Have fun!

Did you use EC on the TT and the HC on the Honda b/c of the differences in paint or was it just for giggles?

The Honda looked to be in worse shape but got the "lesser cut" product... I'm interested in picking up some Hi-temp stuff so that's why I'm asking.

Honda paint is much softer than audi paint so you don't need to be nearly as aggressive on Hondas as you do with most Audis

I'm aware of that...

I was looking for the opinions / feedback of the person doing the work.

Thanks.

Very nice looking details. Had questions but once I got through the entire thread they all were answered. Great job. I can't wait to use my po106ff.

That work is a thing of beauty man! It doesn't get cleaner than that. :bigups

how was the sling with running at these speeds on that aggressive pad ?

I get crazy sling and have to "tape off" if i go at those speeds.

How are you managing to run so high without huge splatter ?

EC/OP, orange @ 1800

106ff/white @ 1500

Yes, the Honda paint was much softer. Well, let me re-phrase. The Honda paint was a little softer than average, and the TT paint was solid as a rock. EC on the Honda would have been overkill, whereas on the TT I needed to do a couple passes in some spots.

I put the product right on the pad, spread it at 600rpm, then crank the speed up once it is well spread with no high spots. Seems to work; the only time I get occasional splatter is if I go over an edge.
