Ferrari 458 Italia: Wet Sand and Detail in South Florida (orange peel removal)

That was a fantastic write up. Was the orange peel from the factory or was it a re-paint? Either way, wonderful work.

Incredible work my friend, just amazing!

How about some Italian since it's a Ferrari after all: "Bellissimo lavoro!" Which means beautiful work for those who don't know Italian.

That was awesome, you raised the bar with that magazine quality write up and your work. Although I'd like to know what products you used, I think it's cool that you didn't mention any brands. That was quite the change from the standard C&B.

I can't believe Ferrari would release cars to their clients with paint texture that bad. When I first read the title, I was like the owner must be real picky, but then I saw how bad the texture was and changed my thoughts....

Nice job Todd, very well done. Write it is excellent as well.

i'm glad you got to perform your magic on one hell of a supercar, but for the cost of this car it should have come from the factory that way, either way stellar work.

That is the most astounding detailing performance I've ever seen ... in all regards (the actual work, the write-up, and the stunning photos).

With results like this, you should re-think your pricing approach. From now on, you should just say "Mr. Customer, when you come back to pick up your exotic automobile after I have finished my work, all I ask is that you merely pay me what you think it is worth." I probably would have cried from joy when I saw the final results, and I shudder to think of the amount on the check I would have written you were this my car.

Well done, sir.

I can't figure out which I like better, the stunning results obtained by countless hours of refining the finish or similar time spent conveying every last detail of what went into this project.

Thanks Bryan

One of the best writeups I have ever seen! Looks like I was reading a darn magazine article on how to sand a 458 Ferrari. Excellant work Todd!

Bravo Bella Machina :clap2::clap2: This is by far the most informative, exclusive, over the top, sick, crazy & awesome thread that has ever graced the screens of the online detailing forum! Truly a benchmark thread that even all those high-end people in the US and in the UK will never come close to copying. You are the undefeated king of not only detailing the most exotic, rare and exclusive cars, but your ability to create this level of write up is unparalled. Many people don't recognize that you built the framework for the now mainstream exotic forum Click N Bragging, but by creating this thread you've crushed any hope for people continuing to copy your over the top efforts.

I nominate this thread to be the 1st sticky this site's section has been allowed and encouage people viewing to rate it with ***** stars. :first:

David, you do realize you just issued a challenge, right? :LOLOL:

Todd, that truly is impressive work. Just curious, what do you use for the illustrations (film build diagrams, etc.)? Adobe Illustrator?

David gets me in more trouble than anybody else.... :shocked

Thanks for the compliments! I used Photoshop CS4 for the graphics, I have failed several times at learning vector although I might give it another try in the near future.

Thanks Mush-Mouth! I have some on my work on my 'featured' page of my website (link in signature per rules).

Had to look at this again................"Tightness certified", everyone is looking at the finished product but this job gents was "HIGH RISK" as Todd took off quite a bit of the clear to get this look.
