Ferrari 458 Italia... oops, I did it again :).

Very nice Jesse!

We have seen this in the past from you and others, but just insane how these cars come from the factory.

Thanks Bryan! The finny thing>> the Scag in the 2nd to last pic... it was in better condition than the 458 and it's 3 years old!!!!!!!!!!! OK, I've just finished it tonight and it was no walk in the park to correct, but... well, you know.

Yeah, I'm gonna uninstall that "swirl" filter I found... it's just making exotics look bad :D

That's just crazy Jesse!

Good thing the dealership has someone like you to get the cars back in shape before they're delivered to the customer.

Great work once again!

Once again awesome work on the 458. Jesse you rock dude, those F cars are lucky to have somebody of your skill, passion, and caliber!!!!!

How would you compare the paint on the 458 to the 430's in terms of how it responds to polishing? Is it pretty much the same thing? I have three of these to do in June (all black :( ) so any heads up advice from the master would be great!

Great thread
:up:up:up

Damn it Jesse, you got two Italia's and NONE are here stateside yet.............ahhh poo. Todd from what I can see it is biz as usual in Marenello, when the car is painted(with robots btw now)when the mario bros get thier hands on it things go downhill fast. Also there seems to be quite a bit of handling damage from the factory to the dealership with re-sprays not uncommon in my opinion.

Good save as usual Jesse. That 458 looked to be in the exact same condition as the HGTE I just did a few weeks back. I had 18 hours invested in that one...

19hrs on a new car is crazy! Ferrari needs some help.

Glad to see the dealership taking the time to do it right for the client!

Cheers,

GREG

Nice job Jesse as usual. Your work is outstanding.

I'm with Todd and curious about the paint hardness or softness compared to the 430 paint.

I've got one lined up as well so I'm a bit curious.

Nice thread. Josh
