STUNNING!!!!
BRILLIANT!!!!
SPECTACULAR!!!!
AMAZING!!!!
That is proof positive that you are in a class by yourself Todd. Also, that just may be the most detailed and informative write-up ever posted on this or any forum.

Thank you, thank you for posting this for all of us to learn from.:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

CHAMPION of the Champions

Besides the work done, the graphics and the levelling done by hand(super difficult to do btw)were so impressive to me!!. Kudos also to your customer for paying "The freight" to allow this much correction to be done and making a car look the way it should have in the first place.

Todd, So did you spend more time making the paint stunning or putting together the most informative writeup ever?

That's exactly what I was thinking too! ;)

Amazing work on the car Todd! Honestly though, since your work is always great, I must say I was more impressed with the amount of time you spent in the write up. Clearly you have made it THE most informative and educational before and after write up to date.

I'm still a complete newb with Adobe Illustrator, but I can still imagine how long it took to get the amount of detail you have in some of those illustrations. I especially like the one showing the orange peel texture along with the subsequent steps.

My hats off to you bro! :notworthy:

Doesn't seem like there is a need for traditional write ups after this one. Sadly I haven't clicked on one in quite some time, glad I viewed the work done on this one.

@-)@-)@-)

I can't believe my eyes! This is simply the best written and illustrated write-up I've ever seen.

I vote we sticky this, please!

Owner chose the right guy to wash up his baby. Todd, your work makes me work 5x harder when i see things like this. Hope one day i will be able to be as good as you. Since im young i have lots of time to practice and work my ass off. Now as for the write up, simply amazing. :)

This is just unreal.
This write up belongs in every car magazine from Road and Track to the Dupont Registry
I have to forward this to the owner of my dealership.
I think your going to have a hard time topping this one.

Very informative and artistically done write-up. Truly stunning and the reflection shots were MONEY.
I've been waiting for this one - not just with the teaser, but talking with Fermani and having him tell me of whats to come left me impatient!

Great work Todd! :Dancing Dot:

Todd your passion for this business go far beyond the task at hand. This was simply amazing. Your work has spoken for itself time and time again. You have really impressed me with raising the standard of your write ups. This was by far the best thing I have read in a long time. Your a class act for sure. Thats for sharing this amazing detail and write up with us all.

Todd,

Absolutely, absolutely, awesome, detailed, work and write-up.
Your talents at both tasks are definitely worth getting published by someone.

I think pretty soon, we will all be reading about you and the business (you pick this one :) ) you are leading so succcessfully.

:) And we will all say - "hey, I knew of that guy when he was a Detailer!" :)

Thanks so much for all the time that came after the 60+ hours to write, compose, type, download pics, heck all the things that came up to put such a perfect write up together for us to learn from.

Todd, So did you spend more time making the paint stunning or putting together the most informative writeup ever?

Thanks Bryan! I spent 65 hours ish on the Ferrari and about 45 on the write-up..

incredible write up
that car looks amazing

Thanks dfaszeka!

Wow!!!

The car is pure perfection. That is one lucky dude who has the means but also has the knowledge to get you to perfect it!

Thanks for taking the time to photo document. Can wait to see the product list.

Thanks JSFM35X. The product list has been added on the third page.

Wicked!:drool5:

I wouldn't call this a thread, but more like a "How To" guide.

Great work.

Thanks Erik, I appreciate it!

Fantastic write up and documentation. The car is just beyond compare.

I doubt it will ever look this good again , unless it comes back to you.

It will be back. This car belongs to one of my best clients and my hands (and his) will be the only one's that touch it until he trades it in (knowing him for another black Ferrari, probably with black interior and white stitching as his previous 430, 430 Scud, and now 458 all have). Thanks for the compliments!

11/10

Great work and amazing write up! Thanks!

Thanks Mopar!

Absolutely AMAZING!

For both the incredible work on the 458 and the writeup!

Just WOW!

Thanks Chris!

Stunning.....Simply Stunning :drool5:

Now, excuse me while I go delete my photo album Da Rules!

Thanks Flash'ster..lol...

Thank you so much for the compliments. I really put a lot of time and thought into the write up so it is very nice to hear such positive feedback.

Looks amazing Todd, and it must have been an incredibly trying car to do mentally as much as anything, very well done

Thanks Clark!

Truly amazing write up and incredible work my friend.

Thanks Brian. We've split the same blood in the same mud (or the same compound on the same paint, although the former sounds much cooler) so I really appreciate it!

Thank you very much Bob, your appreciation is very kind. Hand/palm sanding can be frustrating at times and requires so much patience (as you know) to do to the nth degree. Thanks again

Thanks Chad! To be honest showing the detail on the tops of the illustrations was fairly easy, you just add noise then add a motion blur onto of it, and play the opacity until it's just right. I'm looking forward to seeing you at SEMA.

Simply STUNNING work and write-up Todd. :hurray:

Is that IYO? :D

Thanks :D

Finally got to see this not on a 2.5inch cell phone screen... its more impressive now!

Bar, raised... Bench, marked!

Thanks Dave for your compliments. I am looking forward to seeing you the quality of work you put on one these.

Thanks Matt, I hope it was worth the wait!

Totally unreal. Great write up in so many ways.
