This was the second detail yesterday. 97 car with very deep swirls and chips to front end and mirrors.



Process;



Clayed using same clay as 360 detail

Polished front end using (in order I tried!) SSR2, SSR2.5, DACP, IP on a variety of pads without much success - dealer was happy (very) but I felt I'd not achieved a truly perfect result.

Sealed using Carlack 68 x 2

LSP Souveran (I mean, how could you not on a black 'Rari!)

Wheelwells Neilsen Flair

Tyres 4* gel

Glass NXT Glass Cleaner

Roof dry vac'd to remove all linit & dust (car stored under a red cover which leaves fluff)

Noticed you're using 'Nielsen Flair' - how do you get on with it? I just recently bought 5 litres of the 'Nielsen Liquid Gold' and I must say I'm pretty impressed with the stuff. Have you got any other Nielsen products?

Flair's OK Craig - works fine for wheelwells etc but the smell's WD40 plain & simple. Still, it was cheap and Smarter World are just down the road from me.
