Fellow Mobile Detailers...you have to check this out!

Once in Santo Dominica I was repositioning a corporate Jet. Apparently some guys were being paid to detail it and that is why I had to move it, the detail was complete.They were a rough bunch and were getting annoyed that I was moving the plane. They asked to be paid, I was not the guy to do that, I was just a traveling mechanic. When they got a little too close I said OK how much. They responded 15 bucks..... I gave them a 20 and they were mucho happy.



The plane is 30 feet long and the wings are about 27 feet wide, poor bastards must have spent 12 hours doing it. I dont even want to think about how much they could have screwed up. I gave the plane a intensive preflight but to their credit they didnt screw anything up. I have seen detailers here do some pretty bad things to planes.



Im almost positive our chief pilot would submit a detailing bill at home for a grand or so after paying them so little.
 
Im suprised the bast@#%*"s havnt taken over America with those prices. Time will tell, they bring the pay rate down everywhere they live. The illegals I mean.
