Favorite spray sealant?

True spray sealant would be Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger. But I guess since Optimum Opti-Seal is technically a spray (even though you spray it on the pad) that's what I use more than anything else. Even easier than using a spray product.

Z-8/Aquawax work well but durability is only about 6 weeks, easy enough to use that it really isn't an issue. Great way to add pop and gloss in between applying a true sealant.

Not really a sealant, but also not really a QD: Valugard Fast Finish is the best drying aid I've used and as a stand alone, it's pretty decent too.

The only one I've tried is Garry Dean's Beyond Infinity Sealant. It's OK but I hardly ever use it as it's water-sensitive, and a quick application post wash/dry would be vulnerable to all the water drips that all my vehicles are prone to.

Are all the others being mentioned (e.g., the CG V7 has somehow piqued my interest  ) similarly sensitive to water?

Still my *favorite* post-wash product for black trim, but also still never giving the slickness or optical "pop" I want on my paint or wheels :nixweiss

V7 is not sensitive to water. To me it is better than Z8. I would not use V7 as a LSP sealant. It is the wow or pop factor after a good wax or LSP sealant.

I like Duragloss AquaWax best. However, lately I have been using something that I'm not sure what category it falls under - "Slick Mist Spray Wax", by Lucas. It is called a wax but it does not contain wax (the same is true of AquaWax). Instead, Slick Mist is a polymer product which makes me think it is a sealant (again, like AquaWax) but nowhere in the literature does it say it is a spray sealant. The description is somewhat vague even at the Lucas website where Slick Mist is simply given a generic label as "a polymer paint gloss intensifier". Slick Mist is also similar to AquaWax in that it can be used as a "topper" on a dry car or as a drying aid after your rinse. In fact, if it were not for the distinctive smell I would swear Slick Mist was AquaWax. It acts the same and looks the same.

Although I may not know exactly what Slick Mist is or is suppose to be, I do know it works to give excellent gloss and slickness and a bit of protection to your paint as well. It is very versatile in that it can be used in different ways, it has some cleaning ability so it can also act as a QD, and it smells great (think a bubble gum factory). As a bonus, Slick Mist is bargain priced (even a little cheaper than AquaWax which is an excellent value itself) and available locally at all auto supply stores and even places like WalMart. I may not know what Slick Mist is but it is a winner for sure!

shortspark- Huh, I'll have to keep an eye peeled for that one. And ya know, when the only diff is the scent, I often wonder if it's the same stuff in all other respects

BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection and Zaino Z-2 both seem to work alike. With a product like Slick Mist being so compatable with them, it would seem to be a great combination.

Amazon has it for 8.99 with free shipping if you have a Prime Account. Autozones price is 9.99 The question seems to be " Is it Accumulator proof ? " .

Though I've never heard of Z2 "darkening" the finish the way BFAFPP does

Might be a while before we find out...I still have a few gallons of my current QDs to use up!
