Simple Green has had very negative reviews & it stains just about anything you use it on. What is available locally or online that will perform better and not stain interior, wheels, aluminum ?

Also is the Poorboy's APC stronger than Simple Green. ?

I haven't had any problems with SG except on aluminum which you should keep it away from. I use it on tires, wheel wells, and engine with no problems, dilute about 2 parts SG to 1 part water. I've been using Greased Lightning recently on the above mentioned areas but I like SG better.

I am partial to Meg's APC, though it's geared towards interior use, I use it in the engine bay, wheel wells, and for cleaning wheels and tires. It's pretty economical at about 13-14 bucks a gallon and you can get it at your local PBE store.

Triple Seven from Auto Magic. Works great on just about anything. Is not very caustic so it is very nice on interiors, safe for paint and safe from fools who do not like to dilute the products. Mixed for interiors at about 6 to 1. Use it about 2 to 1 for exteriors. Some heavy degreasing needs 1 to 1 or straight. But that is not a common occurence. Can get it for 8.95 a gallon or 34.99 for 5 gallons.
Would also recommend White Lightning from 4 Star. It is a little less idiot proof than Triple Seven, but may have a little more kick at degreasing.

My fav is special cleaner from automagic. I like it cause if you let it dry by mistake on say.. interior plastics or on the front end of your truck, It won't stain or discolor it if diluted properly. And its not to much money if you buy it bulk.

I used simple green Diluted on cup holder of my Stang and it stained it forever. I tried using Poorboy's TRIM' restorer but after 2 weeks the stain returned. Which means i have to dress it with VRT to keep it looking New.

true what are you paying for the Special Cleaner? Seen it on my suppliers truck but never asked any questions about it.

While I haven't used the new Meguiar's APC that replaced APC+, I have used quite bit of the old APC+ and it has been an excellent and versatile product.
Like Travis said, you can get it at body supply stores and many regular auto parts stores can order it for you. Whether they will or not might be a different story.

Another vote for AM 777. Very economical and works great everywhere when diluted properly. Has a black cherry scent that's not overwhelming so it's pleasant to work with too.
