Took some more pictures this weekend, now these two are my favorite. The second shows serious orange peel, but I still like it.

I like the background and reflections in this shot. The cracked asphalt is pretty neat too:

That's from a Canon Rebel XT with a 50mm 1.8f II lens. If you think that's nice, you should see it at the full 8 megapixels!



I had to post these shots after all the lousy shots I got with my point and shoot. I couldn't find a single picture that I thought looked nice even after trying so hard to take a lot of different shots at different angles. 5 minutes with the dslr and I had a dozen really great looking shots.
