Fast Detailing Spray

Not sure... make sure you don't use fabric softener when you wash and dry your microfibers. Also, you could be using too much product. Two sprays should do half the hood.

Is the car fairly clean when you start?

If it's too dusty or dirty, it should be washed rather than QD'd.

I think the problem is I use to much, I pump that trigger 7 or 8 times on half the hood same thing on all of the panels

My favorite quick detailing spray is Finish Kare 425. It leaves behind just a little additional slickness. I have yet to experience any streaking with it on my black beauty. It's a great complement to BWD.

Be sure to use a high quality microfiber towel for the removal of qd's. The ones you get at the local auto zone just ain't good enough--a hard lesson learned.

Thank you for your input, I will try that next

Maybe too much product being applied with a micro-fiber. I try to use a very light mist only application . A little goes a long way. Paul S

Luster said the same thing about possibly using to much. I think that is the problem, I think I'm worring about rubbing the dust into the finish

Way too much product. 2-3 sprays for half the hood is plenty.

I usually "dampen" my microfiber with a couple sprays of QD before I start. Let it soak in and then use 2-3 sprays on each panel.

Try that and let us know.

I like to do that as well. I find "priming" the applicator media to actually save product and prevent "dry contact" induced swirls.

I just mixed a gallon of distilled H2O with 6oz of ONR for a QD. It's the first time I have used it for something other than a wash or clay lube. I am imporessed with how easy it is to use. No streaking, Great shine too! Love it!
