Time is running out!

I was looking forward to having a little friendly competition around here.:(

Actually what I was really looking forward to was being able to trash talk. especially when I whooped up on audiboy.:kick:

I was hoping to have the draft Sunday the 2nd.

I was really hoping this would come together too. You could always create a couple of ghost teams if we don't have the last three spots filled.


By the way, you may beat me at fantasy football, but you'll never be 1/10 the man that I am. :rofl

Ok we now have enough I hope. Now the trick is getting everyone in the chat room at the same time for the draft. It will last about an hour.

I'm going to throw out a date and time and you guys tell me if you can do it.

this Wednesday at 7pm EST. Will that work for you?
 
OK, for those of you do not know how to play go to FOX Sports on MSN - Fantasy Football Draft Guide - What is fantasy football?

Our league will be on Yahoo which has cheat sheets and info there too, but I think Fox is better to learn from.

Each league rules are different so this is how we play.

In our league we will draft 14 players and will be able to have a total of 20 players on each team.

Each week you will be able to use 10 guys from your team (starters). The other 10 are your bench warmers (They cannot score for you that week).

Only a certain number of players from each position can play for that week.

You will be able to play

1 QB (Quarterback)
2 WR (Wide Receivers)
2 RB (Running Backs)
1 TE (Tight End)
3 WR/RB (can be RB or WR)
1 DEF (Defense)

Now you know more than I did when I entered my first draft.

Tips for the draft.

Everyone needs to have a printed list of players (cheat sheet). Make sure you have at least 200 player's names in front of you because we will be picking 140 players at the draft.

Every time someone picks a player you mark him off your list. Then when it's time for you to pick you will know who's still available.

Some leagues include kickers, but we won't be.

One more thing to note, In fantasy football, an entire defense counts as one player in your league. So whatever the defense does as a whole effects your points.
 
Check your e-mail. You will get an invitation to our league. Just click on the link and enter your team name and such. I will enter your players for you after we have had the draft.

1st spot gets picks 1,20,21,40,41.......
2nd spot gets picks 2,19,22,39,42.......
.
..
...
10th spot gets picks 10,11,30,31,50,51......

Did I mention that the first 2 people can't take Tomlinson?:D

I don't care about the day but 7pm EST is too early for me - I am still at work. How about around 9pm EST?
