I've got a real fall-out problem on my truck. I just got my White Xterra back from the dealership after three weeks. Now that I have had a chance to wash it I notice lots of little orange dots on the paint.
The dealership offered to have a "fall out specialist" clean it up but when they mentioned an "acid wash" I was scared off. So i've started claying/cleaning the paint myself but the weather has been uncooperative.
The paint surface had fresh layers of AIO/SG before I dropped it off. How urgent is it to remove this fallout before it starts to cause damage to the finish? Theres probably less than a handful of spots left but until the weather clears up I wont be able to get to them. Basically I have been chasing them around with a clay bar, then running a bit of AIO over the area followed by UPP. What does the city recommend?
Another thought that has occurred is that I may have to clay the entire car to get rid of this problem. There could be bits of metal on there now that haven't begun to rust and are "invisible".
So would you guys rush to get this stuff off? Another product to recommend for my situation to remove this junk from my paint so I can layer my AIO/UPP/NATTYS combo on there that I have been so anxious to try?
Thanks & Aloha,
Robert
