Experts: New Alpine White 3er: Klasse vs Zaino

Guys,



I recently took delivery of an 03 Alpine White 325iT. I look forward to spending some focused detailing time on her this weekend. Thank goodness for a garage at work and at home.



My question...I love Zaino but don't have any (except some left over Z1). I have plenty of the Klasse twins, however. In a perfect world I'd purchase all of Sal's products and make it a Zaino show car, but need to save some $$$ and use what's on hand.



I am willing, however, to hold off and order the Zaino and do it right from the start. I don't guess Zaino works too well over AIO & SG? How can I strip the Klasse to prep for the ultimate Zaino car?



On a white car, will the difference in Zaino outshine Klasse (AIO and SG)? Which product line is best on white?



I also have some Griot's Best in Show wax on hand--don't really care for it...



Last question: what do you all think of the Griot's Leather scent? I'd like to supplement my already pefect interior as it loses that new car smell. If Griot is not your favorite, what is?

I'm no expert. But I can offer a couple of comments.



By the way, I'd suggest you go back into your Profile (use the "User CP" at the top of the homepage) and add in a location -- at least what state you're in. Who knows, you might find that the Zaino Bunny lives right near you. ;)



Congrats on the new ride! I once had a new car. Now I just have all these 2nd-hand ones.

I've never tried Klasse. But I'm pretty happy with the Zaino on my white car. Check out this thread; you could also do a search on "Zaino" and "white" and find lots of relevant threads.

The Zaino Bunny?? Hmmm.... that kind of excites me and scares me at the same time. I dunno..... I feel kinda tingley and I don't know why.....

To actually answer your question, Yes, the Klasse Twins will look great on your white Bimmer. 1 application of AIO and 2-4 layers of SG. I'd also find the closest Harley dealership and get some S100 paste wax and use it to top it off. I think you'll be really happy with the results and you'll save $$$ over Zaino. :up :bow :D
 
Yep, 1st BMW. I've helped purchase a couple for my folks in the past and lived vicariously through their 5 Series.



This car will be wheels for my first child, due in November.
