Admittedly, it's very challenging, but it can be done...at least to the point of "good enough for real life". Gotta remember that "life is not a car show" ;)

True that. I'm overthinking the whole process and being too much of a perfectionist here with this. We've all been there at some point. Thanks for putting it into perspective =)

Is it reasonable and safe to use an AIO like ZAIO or DG501 with cleaners and mild abrasives annually on a daily driver after it has undergone a full polishing to get it into shape?

Noting that I've never used DG501, and that the abrasives in ZAIO did kinda surprise me....

Yeah, safe enough to use those as you see fit, even more than annually. I've used ZAIO after the M105/M205 progression and it worked out swell. Left enough protection that I didn't feel the need to immediately apply my usual LSP either, just waited until after the next wash for that.

I'm really glad you were receptive to that viewpoint.

Thanks for your reply!!!!! On another note you may be dating youself with the use of "swell" as an adjective. I'm in that cronological area where I remember it's use--:wink1:

Heh heh, yeah, but to some extent it's an intentional affectation :)

You should've seen the young 'uns the last time I said "mimeograph"

Heh heh#2, then you're old enough to put an "h" in chronological :boink:

Sorry, I just couldn't resist :chuckle: I hold my contemporaries to a pretty high standard ;)

Well that's one thing I now have in common with Barry!! I just left it out on purpose to see if anyone was paying attention. HA!
