I have a bit of a problem on my hands, and I don't feel I'm experienced enough to do it right.
I recently bought a 1995 Porsche 911 cabriolet, guards red. The car was repainted two years ago (and clearcoated; the original paint was one-stage; the original owner said it had faded in the Florida sun but was never in an accident). The paint has, of course, numerous swirls in it due to the bozo he sold it to before I bought it. The hood was replaced after the paint job, and has some fairly significant orange peel on it, although the color is a good match.
I'd like to find someone who can do this job correctly ... wet sand the orange peel out of the hood so it matches the rest of the car, and then remove the swirls and make it all look great. Could also use some touchup on the front airdam as well.
Any recommendations?
