Exhaust on my Tundra

First off, I know I need to clean it...

I just had it done this morning for both my dad and I for Xmas. It already had a flowmaster, but wasn't loud enough and had the stock exhaust tip, which IMO is ugly. I had the resonator taken out and replaced with straite pipe and the tip cut off and replaced with a turn down. Sounds a lot better now, not too loud, but nice and throaty, plus it cleans it up a bit without a tip.

Probably not really the place to put it, but hey, I'm braggin. LOL
 
You know, you would have gotten killed over at tundrasolutions.com for removing your resonator. I bet it does sound pretty good. How bad is the dreaded 2000rpm drone in the cab?



When is your frame going to look like mine? LOL :)

People at tundrasolutions dont like that or what? It sounds bad a$$! Like an old muscle car, really! 2000RMP is perfect, nice tone and not too loud.



My frame will look like yours.............well I dont know, I was thinking of you when I got the exhaust put in and was looking under it though. Thats a lot of work! Maybe one day.

i dunno, its like a sin over there or something. this is also the same place where the question is asked "what kind of wax do i use" and everyone answeres zaino like they have been brainwashed.

Most guys on other forums are brainwashed about Zaino. Its rather annoying.
 
Agreed, I have found MANY people think that Zaino is king. Heck, many people think whatever costs the most is the best. They just don't want to admit when Mother's or Meguiar's looks just as good.

On another board, a "detailer" that was the main detailer on the forum, only used Zaino and never used any kind of abrassive for correction. Well another detailer on the forum (not me) asked him to see his work in direct light (because he never shows his work in direct light). Anyway he started a thread on it and asked him, he didn't respond for a while so I thought, hey maybe I can stir up some business by showing my before and afters. So then it became a friendly "detailer battle" and still the original person that got "called out" didn't respond. Some members thought it was good, others (brainwashed by Zaino) thought our work isn't as good as his even though we actually got rid of surface defects. So i got banned for posting my pics, its like a damn monarchy on that forum. Zaino is King!! LOL They just couldn't see through it.



BTW a couple months later (after I got banned) he posted his direct sun pics and lets just say...LOL I guess he just doesn't see the swirls in the paint like I (and other autopians) see.
