EX cure time?

Thanks to all who responded.

I'm afraid it was a bit academic as I washed & clayed on Sunday morning - and then it rained - lots.

I was left with simply throwing a layer of EX over the car for some protection until I can break out the buffer, pads etc.

Don't you just love the British weather?!!!

Oh and the kicker here is that the car was at the dealers on Friday for some minor work and the *******'s washed it (well sprayed something on it which took out all the wax coz it wasn't beading Saturday morning) plus they sprayed some horrible sticky stuff all over the dash.

Someone get me a flamethrower......

I've used EX and have always waited at least 30 mins before removal. The suggested wait time between coats is 24 hours to cure (I am assuming the reason being if it's not properly cured a second and third coat in that short of time would not be layering).

I have seen on another forum where someone did their car in a day with a wait time of 30~45 mins between layers of EX, then UPP, then topped off with Natty's I believe - all in one day and the results looked really nice - You can read the full thread with pics here
