Willis, just curious, who paid for the detail.. the client or the dealership?

Dealership is suppose to foot the bill on this one...surprising but...they're doing the right thing at least.

I really like finest. Went on very easily and its nice knowing i can just put it on and keep moving. Opti-Coat lately in this high heat has been giving me a bit of fuss with application (streaking). Finest...no issues whatsoever.

From what Corey told me....he said that higher humidity usually meant faster flash time...so he though that with my lower humidity (even with the extreme heat) that it may flash a bit slower...which it seems it did from what others have said when it comes to how quickly they can remove it. Removal is like butter...comes right off..use a 2nd towel to buff off any additional and you're on to the next coat. The feel of the coating after it cures literally is like glass (for good reason im sure!)

[B]As for the heat, I'm with Scott on that one...i HATE cold..can't stand it and thats when i feel the most dead. I dont want to get outta bed let alone bundle up in a garage lol. But i was born and raised here so maybe thats why:)

Cool! Thanks Wills. I put you on the "Sick List" with Scott!

This is an outstanding effort and result! Just amazing.........

Thanks a lot! Really means a lot that so many of you have taken the time to read and comment...thanks again.

What else is there to say that hasn't already been said. The dedication, persistance, stubbornness, passion are on a whole nother level, you have my utmost admiration for the work the two of you do.

For the love of God himself, what a TREMENDOUS job you two!!! Just amazing!!

Lol, seriously some of the comments you guys make damn near make me blush! Thank you so much...REALLY hope to bring more write ups like this in the future. I'll tell you what...after this job...my expectations of what we're capable of seriously jumped a few levels. I'd be lying if i said doing that kind of work on THAT kind of car wasn't stressful and a lot of pressure....but when we can look back and say we not only didn't mess up, but accomplished everything we set out to do...it seriously feels good...i'm now going to end up being as anti-orange peel as i am anti-swirl lol

Whats up Aaron! Thanks a lot my man....the respect is mutual, the fact that you didnt just throw up your hands and spread some sealant on that damn devil's paint job of a BMW you were working on...really got a lot of props from me. Hope you're able to coat that thing successfully soon!
