Everything you need to know about prima hydro max

I have used Epic at least 1 time. It has a chemical smell, spreads and removes easily, and lasts a decent time. It tends to darken paint.

Thinking about using Prima Hydro Max to top HD speed for the customer not looking to spend $$$. Thoughts on the combo?

Why not use something actually formulated to top HD speed that's less than $10? HD express.

Express only lasts 1.5 months. Prima is suppose to last much longer, at 3-4 months. Also express isn't really a spray and wipe IMO, more like spray, spread buff. That's why I am considering it.

I tried HD Express, and found it streaky on black and not particularly enjoyable to use. Quite frankly, it was one of the worse spray waxes I have used IMHO. On the other hand, HydroMax is one of the best.

Really, you can just use a polish and then HydroMax. No need for an AIO. I doubt and LSP in any AIO lasts any longer than HydroMax.

I've been using Amigo to clean/prep the paint, Epic to seal and the Wax as U Dry to maintain. So far, I really like the results!

Great. Dont be fooled. Its as easy to use as a spray detailer, but once your done you are protected! Make sure to hit the glass/wheels/trim!

Make sure you read my review in post #8.

Today I tried another LSP because I seem to have the need to try new products (new to detailing). So far, it isn't looking as good as Hydro Max. We'll see tomorrow.

I noticed there is a product called Prima Slick. In the Hydro Max product info page, this product is mentioned as being used alongside HM. Any opinions on that? I'm going to try Wax As You Dry but just wondering about this product.

Thank you for the suggestion - great product.

Slick is great. It's a QD, offers gloss, but no protection. I like to use it on clean car after a wash to add some shine and make sure there aren't any water spots.

I have been using Prima Hydroseal/Reg hydro mix since it came out. Now I use Hydromaxx. I have used it over everything without a problem. I used with every type of wash with no problem. I mostly wash with ONR then apply HM.
Lately I have been topping HD speed with Hydromaxx. Also I have a have regular Hydro and to me it works really well as a QD and adds protection.
