Ever noticed this with Opti-Seal?

I will admit that I probably use a bit too much product when it comes to anything, but with Optiseal do any of you notice your car has spots when dew or condensation starts to form? The spots are either from where I first sprayed, or first put the pad down (can't figure which is causing the problem). Looks fine during the day or when it's dry otherwise.
 
First time I used it I noticed the same thing, but I suspected I used a tad too much... subsequent applications I've gone much lighter and haven't noticed the problem since.
 
I've seen it happen with other products where you can see the application pattern, but nothing like this. It literally looks like I have polka dots on the car when the dew/condensation starts forming.



This was using the wipe on, walk away application. I noticed no smearing or streaking, and any heavy spots seem to have leveled out on its own after it dried, although some areas took a bit longer to dry than others (I'm assuming these were the parts first sprayed, where it might have had a heavier application of product than the other areas). I'm wondering if maybe buffing it off would prevent this from happening, but then would I be diminishing the protection/durability of OS?
 
I find with the opti-seal when I put it on I dont worry about the streaking that much--I just let it sit an dry a hour or so and go over it with a microfiber towel and everything looks fantastic, the extra comes off so easy. So dont worry about the streaking too much
 
I don't touch OptiSeal with a towel for at least a day. An hour after I apply, I look for streaking. I massage the area with my bare hands to blend the product into the surface. The next day it is cured, looks much better, and can be wiped down with MF & Quick Detailer.

I've also noticed this, mostly with carnaubas. What i've found that reduces this is removing the excess by wiping in the opposite direction that you applied the product. In other words- if you apply it right- left wipe it off up- down.

Perpendicular, not opposite, right? I was kinda confused at first.
