eurow vs baja sol wash mitts

:angry I don't get it. I JUST came from Target and Wally World! I actually went looking for wash mitts! All they had were some cheap looking chenille sponges and mitts. NO lambswool mitts at all! The chenille sponge were so thin and cheezy looking that I walked out in disgust.

The brand at Target was called "Vroom". The one at Walmart was a generic Walmart brand. The local Strauss Auto store had one brand as well. "Viking". Quality for Viking was a bit better but not much. None of these mitts indicated whether they were 100% cotton or not and I wasn't taking any chances. They looked like cheezy, generic brand stuff to me. None of the names that are mentioned in this thread were there at all.

I'm going to check out Pep Boys and Autozone but it seems that higher end wash mitts are hard to come by. Have yet to see a genuine lambs wool one at all. :(

I'm just wondering if I should wash with my brand new 100% high quality cotton towels and just order some wool mitts from Autopia. At least then I can be assured the quality is what it should be. I plan to do a wash this Saturday so I'm a bit flummoxed. I didn't think finding a wash mitt would be a big deal but I guess around here it is.

Thoughts?

:bounce Problem solved! The local Pep Boys had a nice selection of Turtle Wax genuine sheepskin wash mitts. There were about 15 of them there and I went through them all and picked the two biggest, fluffiest ones. both are nice and look like the ones in Spilchy's pics. One is very large, dense and fluffy, the other just a bit less. :xyxthumbs

I gotta say I love this place! :woot: Where else could you find out about shopping for wash mitts?

Wasn't impressed with the chenille mitts at Pep Boys though. Very linty so I passed.
