Hello. I'm Eric, and a car enthusiast. Until now, my car detailing routines have been sub-par by the standards of this and other detailing forums. So here I am to correct the error of my ways.

For my daily driver, I have a 2005 VW Passat wagon with the 1.8T (turbo) engine and 5-speed manual. It has been modified with a sport suspension, wheels and summer tires, and added HP via chip-tuning. Plus some various cosmetic mods. Overall it is both economical and practical, and entirely fun to drive.

My "nice weather" car is a 2002 BMW M3 convertible with the SMG manumatic transmission. I got a good deal on it in the summer of 2008. However, it needs a bit of reconditioning, both on the exterior and interior. You wouldn't know at a glance, but obsessive enthusiasts like myself would certainly pick it up.

That leads me to joining. My handle pretty much means "German brands" for my cars, and is a play on words for the old German money.

Welcome Eric. Glad to have you here.

You kind of look like one of our moderators also named Eric. Pretty scary to have two of you here. :yikes:

:gotcha:

Imagine that, 2 Erics that drive BMWs!

:welcome: to DC Eric! Glad to have you here. Post some pics of the M3 please.

As you can tell, I like black cars because they never look dirty. :notme:
