EO tire cleaner is good for all kinds of stuff>

Redcar Guy…

Since you have been testing this on all kinds of things, have you tried it as an engine degreaser? I wonder how it would work on a cold/cool motor if you sprayed it on and washed it off before it started to dry? Something in the 15 to 30 second range.

Has anyone tried this as an engine cleaner?

I might get a chance to try it this week myself. I was just wondering. I think it might be OK since it is supposed to dissolve grease, oil and road grime off the tire and it’s also ok if you get it on your wheels (chrome, polished aluminum, clear coated or painted) as long as you do not let it dry out (per the IMPORTANT note on the bottle).

I will shot some on a pretty dirty motor and let it sit for between 15 to 30 seconds and then hose it off with some pressure and just see what it does. Since I don’t have a digital camera, I’ll have to wait until I reach the end of my current roll of film to post any pictures.

If anyone else tests EO tire cleaner as an engine degreaser, please take picture and post them up. Maybe we can compare results and methods.

Anyone try this?

Used it for the first time today on the tires of my F150. I am very impressed. Left the tires looking great. Much better than Simple Green.... Thanks Redcarguy for the tip :D
