I was contacted by this client based on a referral from a previous corvette I detailed..Thanks Rory!
I went over an did an initial inspection on the car while it was sitting in the direct FULL sun...it was horrifying! The car had been repainted at one point, which was a good thing for me as the paint wasnt SUPER hard, but it still took some work to clear things up.
Here is what I was greeted with upon delivery:
After washing the car with dawn to remove the oils and dirt from the car, revealed were MORE swirl marks and scratches than I previously thought, and water spots that were deeper than I thought. Oh the things a dirty car hides!
Pulling out the clay bar, here is what it looked like after just a 1x2' area:
