what do you guys use to dress the black plastic coverings on todays new car, as seen on the benz, lexus, infiniti,s beemers etc
to make them look new?
the big black plastic pieces that cover the manifolds, valve covers, air cleaners and throttle bodies etc

Those big plastic peices are your best friend. Its so easy to shine them up, you will fall in love! Just degrease them, use Simple Green or any other APC. And then use a trim product of some sorts.

For a nice look I use Stoner's Trim Shine. I had AMAZING results with this product on a 1997 Explorer Sport, and if over spray gets on the paint, its a breeze to remove.

Other products such as Engine Kote, PB's BnB, or most Vinyl dressings work well also.

AutoMagic's "Super Dress It" gives perhaps one of the best looking deep black, low shine results I have ever seen.

It is water based and one gallon makes two gallons when cut with water. Used at full strength it gives a high gloss but then looks fake. Works well on wheel wells also.

what other products from automagic do you use that you like?

thanks

My only question about using a water based product that you have to wipe to apply properly, is what do you do in those tight areas?
