engine bay

hey guys, haven't been on for a while. anyways, finished cleaning my car for the day, i'll tackle the interior another day... i noticed that my engine bay is pretty dirty, and it's built up this dusty grime, and it's a b*tch to get off, any tips for just hosing down the engine bay? i usually wipe it down w/ some simple green, but it's been a while and i need a more in depth solution. any tech's some of you can recommend?

Your normal cleaning with Simple Green (or Orange Blast or any other APC) is the right way to do it. Once I'm finished, I coat it with something. Last time, over a month ago, I coated it with Armor All Foaming Tire Cleaner. Not totally ungreasy feeling, but it looks clean and doesn't seem to attract dirt.



Same product doesn't do crap for wheel wells though.
