Empty spray bottles/pump sprayers

Any ideas what are some good empty spray bottles/pump sprayers I can buy in store? Planning to mix some ONR and water to make some quick detailers and I need it ASAP before this weekend, as I am out of my Meg's Quick Detailer.

I know Autogeek carry these:

Autogeek Chemical Resistant Pressure Sprayer, pump spray bottle, pressurized sprayer

A little too expensive, cause I need about 6 of them.

I just bought these from Home Depot:

All-Purpose Spray Bottle, 32 Oz., Case of 24 - F80HD24 at The Home Depot

And they suck! They're uncomfortable, kinda heavy/bulky and takes a good amount of energy to use - and it doesn't spray out much solution as well.

I just reread your post...

If you are out of Meg's QD couldn't you just mix up a batch of ONR and put it in the empty Meg's bottle??

The chemical resistant sprayer found at detailing online retailers allows fluids to cover a wide spread of area with just a fine mist, using less product.

The home depot sprayer sprays a lot more fluid per shot over a smaller spread of area.

The chemical sprayer is good for clay lubrication in my opinion. You get a very light mist on a large surface area without using a lot of product. With the Home Depot sprayer, you are spraying more product per shot over a smaller surface area. In turn you spray more to cover more area, using even more product.

Two suggestions for good, economical sprayers & bottles.

> Literally, the best I have found anywhere are from Walmart. Made by "The Bottle Crew"; 24oz, excellent sprayer, graduated scale molded in..........$0.99 each. A bargain...and I only bought six at the time. Should have doubled that.

Second, for a wide selection of bottles, sprayers, combinations, etc. plus other plastic storage items (buckets, Grit Guards, funnels, et.al.) check US Plastic. Occasionally, they run % off sales. Prices are good and the selection is comprehensive. They will ship to a consumer via UPS even for small orders.

Of course.....that's just my opinion............I could be wrong! :) (But probably not!:))

See ya. :wavey

Echo for US Plastics. My definite go-to... Great for household stuff as well - I'd be embarrassed to admit how much time I've spent on that site. :)

I used to buy 6 at a time from walmart. They don't last too long. But I guess for 99 cents I shouldn't complain.

Build a good relationship (meaning spend some money) with your local bulk chemical supplier (like Ardex, etc.) and they'll usually throw stuff like spray nozzles in for free. At least mine does.

For those of you buying from US Plastics what products are you purchasing from there for detailing? Which sprayer are u buying. There are tons and tons of options.

whats wrong with your megs QD bottle? I reuse one all the time! I love the mist it produces and its a skinny bottle so it fits nicely!
