Electric Blue Ferrari F430 Correction Detail

Hey Autopia, one of my clients wanted us to perform a Correction Detail to remove swirl marks as well as perform an Interior Detail for Concorso Italiano 2014. Sorry for the late post but I just found the pics on my computer.


Upon Arrival:







Correction Process:

Flex XC3401 Speed 4-5
M105/ Meg's Maroon Cutting Pad
Menz Power Finish/ Lake Country White/ Meg's Yellow Polishing Pad
Menz SuperFinish/Lake Country Black Finishing Pad
Menz Powerlock Sealant

Bit my bottom lip reading this, now it's bleeding, Ferrari red. That blue is borrowed from a Porsche 911, where it's called Mexico Blue.

it's tough for me as when I see a British car, I want to see it in British Racing Green. And when I see light blues I think French Racing Blue. Of course Italian Racing Red is one of those colors that for obvious reason is "correct" for Ferrari.

And I have a blue one. I just can't take looking at yet another red one. It's like listening to Stairway to Heaven again. It's burned in enough - I may hear it around but it's not going to be on my personal rotation.

Good call. Don't know if its the exact color (911 Mexico Blue 1974) of the Ferrari Electric Blue but its close. Owned a few new 911's in my life but never a Ferrari. I always remembered the Mexico Blue. Both are gorgeous.
