What process do you recommend before using GW ?

It is stated GW does not contain cleaners or abrasives.

If your paint is in excellent condition, no swirl or contaminants, you can use the paint cleaner of you choice, like IP, AIO or 1Z.

I use it like any typical last step product. On the Jeep, I used Menzerna FP all around, IP on spots, and topped with GW. On the Honda, I went with a #7, #16, GW combo that looks amazing. The GW added a reflectivity to the #16 that I hadn't seen before. *HOWEVER* there is a solvent issue that may or may not have some slight cleaning properties but I could not even begin to be certain about that.

Goes off and comes off easier than anything you have ever used. Apply with foam app and remove with mf towel.

Either PP or MP are fantastic for paint prep, depending on the condition and whether doing it by hand or not. Many people immediately follow with Glanz, but I simply wait until the next wash, which takes off the remaining carnuba, and apply the Glanz then. Glanz Wax is the worlds easiest to apply and buff; you'll love it!!

Thanks Guys,

a little off topic, have you ever used Swissol ? whats the comparsion?

i do like mf clothes

Heh, I just applied Glanz Wax for the first time yesterday. I put it on the Regal after a wash and spot claying. I think you need to prep just like you would for any other product. Whatever your paint needs, that's what you need to do first. There's nothing different about Glanz.

It's an interesting product, and very easy to use. It smells like opening a bottle of turpentine, and has the same consistency. In fact, it even turns white chips and such the color of the paint, just like when you use tar removers and such. But then when it evaporates away, the white returns. However, it doesn't leave the paint dull looking like tar removers usually do. Instead it leaves behind a white haze that you buff off, and then the paint is very shiny and smooth. It's pretty neat stuff.

I think it definitely has some cleaning ability (not like oxidation removal or anything, but like bugs and tar and previous protectants) due to the incredible solvent content.

I thought your post was going to be a review? :nixweiss
