Egged 911

I am suprised the spot where it was hit is so obvious, man, those kids I tell you............

The rest of the car looks nice, looks like a daily driver, got tagged by an egg and a few rock chips. Oh well, the car probaly still moves :-)

Same thing happened to my Supra less than a week after I bought it. Three eggs..........fortunately two hit glass but the third impacted the driver side door just below the window and left the exact same eliptical pattern etched into the paint :angry . I never have had it fixed. I think I'll tackle it this weekend and let you know how it turns out. I was also more fortunate than your Porsche friend since I discovered the "attack" within minutes after and was able to clean off the egg remains before they ate into the clearcoat.

I'm not a forgiving person when it comes to things such as this. Personally, I'd like to find the jerks and drag them by their ankles behind my car for whatever distance it would take until nothing but their ankles are left!!!:grrr

Hey we are all friends here, no need to sugar coat your words just tell us how you feel straight out:D

The same jerks who did this now are the same baffled ignorant fools who, when it comes time to have to pay for their own car insurance, can't understand why it costs so much!?!?

Hello and welcome to Autopia COBRyan,

My main tool to remove swirls from paint is a product made by Hi-Temp and it is called "Light Cut". It works well with a PC, Cyclo, by hand but really shines when used with a high speed rotary at about 1500 rpm's.

There are also a few other products I am trying out for swirls also that seem to give some impressive results. They are SSR1 and SSR2 by Poorboys. PDQ puts out a very nice Foam Pad Glaze that I have had in my bin for a long time but just started using it.

Thanks for the compliments, take care.

Hi Anthony!

I am not surprised that it came out as well as it did. Nice job!

I have done quite a few egg bombs over the years here in Seattle, with different colors and single stage. You do the best with what you have.

Mother fate has two ways of dealing with us folks. (1) Do good things and good things happen. (2) Do bad things and bad things will happen. Whoever did the egging, there time is coming! . . . . . :xyxthumbs

Maybe the culprit was this one...you can see the hatred of 911's in her eyes...
