"Egg crate" texture polish pads

I have used the 6" Lake Country CCS pads, but I find them flat and a bit stiff, plus my compound dries out very quickly.



I'm planning to switch to 5.5" or 4" pads for easier use on our cars (lots of smaller panels), and was considering switching to the egg crate style pads, and would appreciate any feedback.
