Edge Pads Question

So i just bought the edge system with the green pad and the white pad. Now my question is i am going to detail my dads car this weekend and it has some light scratches. I only have ssr1 and was wondering if i should use the green pad or the white pad the get rid of the light scratches.

Use the green pad with the SSR1 its a light cutting pad...the white is a finishing pad for wax, sealants and the likes of that
