I bought this FIREWALL type product on sale at Sharper Image for half off a few months ago. Also all my passwords are a mixture of letters (some upper case) and numbers to make it harder.
I do not use the save password feature for sites that have my financial info.
I also run the program WINDOW WASHER by Webroot each week. It finds its way through the inner workings of your computer and deletes all sorts of temp files, cache, cookies you dont wish to save, internet history, things from your registry, spyware, etc... It then bleaches them all making it impossible to recover.
I love it. It's like a weekly tune up, wash and wax for your computer! My computer has run smooth and fast for a couple years now.
I also recommend SPYWARE BLASTER. This prevents spyware from even being planted! Just do weekly updates. I love this. I try scanning for spyware and have yet to have any!
