I miss my 03 Cobra......
Hey Guys/Gals,



I've been hanging around here lately watching all of the new talent that's roled in. Seen a lot of new products coming out and am feeling that detailing bug again. Starting to get that feeling when I use to post all of the time. I miss being a part of the community all of the time.



Anyways, I got my shipment of Werkstatt goodies in yesterday. So of course it's raining outside today. Thank god for a garage and a beautiful car to work on right... This is my Mom's 05 GT, some of you have seen it a couple of times on here. The vehicle is mostly taken care of as far as washes by my father on a weekly basis. He does a good job, blow dries the car and finishes it with some Meguiar's #34 and natties sometimes. The swirling is very low, so it just needed some light polishing.



My Process:

--Wash w/Optimum No Rinse

--Clay w/Optimum Clay and Optimum No Ninse for lube

--Optimum polish Via PC and a Propel Green pad on speed 5

--Werkstatt Prime "Strong" Via PC and Propel Blue pad on speed 5

--Werkstatt Carnauba Jett applied and removed with an Adam's MF towel



--Wheels cleaned with ONR and polished with Prime

--Tires got Optimum tire shine x2

Have to say they are my 2 new go to products. Prime is a very nice product. I still need to ge the hang of the amount to use. Sometimes I used more than I needed, other times I didn't use enough. That's not the products fault though. It cleans the paint very well and leaves a great finish. Kind of like PO85RD IMO. CJ, well after about the 4th time I applied it I had it down pat. And the shine and depth is very impressive. I was blown away when I took the car out of the garage.



I see some trigger in my near future Scott.

I did part of the hood with OHC and Orange pads cith a Cyclo and got some good hazing with it. With the Propel Blue pad and Prime Strong got rid of the haze with ease. I would say this would be a very nice finishing polish...
