velobard said:I'd say anyone would be hard pressed to call AW an LSP. It's definitely in the "booster" category and while it does that quite well, it's really not anything more than that.

Sounds like you like the Aquawax. You could just clay and AW every couple of months - easy and does the job.![]()
bast525 said:How well does Meg's QD actually clean? Like, will the QD remove stuff that a wash would not? If I were going to wax, would there be any benefit to using the QD after washing for a deeper clean?
With AW after every wash, would I reasonable expect to go 6 months or more before needing to do ZAIO/Collinite again?
I'm tentative to clay bar as I've never done it before... just worried about damaging the paint. But I will give it a try at some point.

bast525 said:yep that's what I'm going to do... I'll use either Zaino AIO, Duragloss 101 (which seems to be a very similiar, AIO type product), or something like that to clean and apply a base layer maybe once or twice a year, then using the DG AW monthly. I used DG AW yesterday and it looked GREAT and was VERY easy to use, I really love this stuff so far.
I probably will try the Collinite at some point, but again, I JUST waxed the car with a carnauba wax not more than a week ago, so won't be looking at doing the Collinite/DG 105 for at least 3 months, and depending on how well the AW performs on it's own (we get a LOT of rain, tree sap, bird attacks, etc. during the summer here, so it will put the AW to the test), I may just use the AW and the yearly/semi yearly cleanings with an AIO.
I bought the MS3 nose bra and hated it... it's SUCH a pain to put on and remove, and has lots of little 'pockets' where tree crap can get lodged between the bra and the paint and scratch the finish. Also, the instructions call to remove it and wash it any time it rains (all the time here in the summer), which would just be too much of a pain. I returned it after a couple days.
bast525 said:Clear seal is just spray on and wipe off? AW is rediculously easy to use.
I may subsitute DG 101 for ZAIO.
