Easiesst way to get bugs off

I'm having a heck of a time getting bugs off my car when I wash it. Is there a trick to this? No matter how hard I rub, they don't seem to come off completely and even trying to get them during waxing with Nxt doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions about products or methods would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

The trick is going to be in the pre soak to loosen them up before washing. You can either mix a strong solution of soap and water, or use a commercially available bug remover.

I used a chemical bug/tar remover for years which did a good job but could mar if rubbed too hard and removed the wax also. Now I use a clay bar and my own clay lubricant. Safer, easier and less taxing on the paint.

The boys who detail the private jets at work tell me that meat tenderizer and red wine work real well.

Never tried these, but the bug sponge, not the mesh covered thing, and bug and tar gel work incredibly well.

I prefer the clay bar as well. With a good coat of LSP, the clay bar is all I need on anything stubborn but I don't have to deal with a clients car that may have had bugs baked in for months or more.
