I used to love EOWS. It used to be a staple in my arsenal back in the early 90's. The more I got involved in detailing the more I started using more boutique products. Over the years I've used a million quick detailers/spray waxes. I recently found myself in the need for a quick detailer after a couple of bird bomb hit me when I was on the road for business. I was checking out the shelves in Pep Boys with a bottle of Surf City QD in my hand (cost was about $10) when I saw EOWS ($5.99!!). I figured since I really only use QD these days for claying, I would get the cheaper one. I grabbed some micro fiber towels and headed to the parking lot.
I sprayed the QD and noticed the awesome smell. Also, removed the bird poop quickly. I finished wiping down the rest of my roof and stopped there. Two days later, my car got rained on and I was surprised to see such tight beads on my roof.
Today I washed my car and decided to wipe it down afterwards with EOWS. I was blown away by it's slickness, shine, ease of application (easy to spread, goes on without streaking), and look. My black Civic Si looks like it's going 100mph while parked.
Needless to say, I will be using EOWS on a regular basis. If you haven't tried it in awhile, give it a shot. It's worth the $5.99.
