Eagle One wax/polish applicators and a question for you Vancouver guys.

I've been using the EO applicators for a while now, and although it is easy to hold, I find it doesn't work very well for polishing and putting on wax. Are there other people who think that way?

I think I might go back to using foam pads, but I can't seem to find them around the Vancouver BC area. Any ideas?

Thanks!

For me the E1 applicator is best for applying a polish or cleaner. The foam they use seems better suited for these products. To apply a pure carnauba wax you should use a cotton terry applicator, microfiber applicator, or something equally soft.

I think they work "okay" for polishing, but the screeching foam drives me insane so I prefer terry covered foam. I wouldn't use it for waxing (and haven't tried) because I can see how its inflexibility wouldn't work well for me.

In case you wanted more of these things, CT has them 40% off right now at some locations.

For some typical yellow Megs foam applicators you can either visit a parts store (like Lordco) or bodyshop supply store and see if they have it or can order it in, or I have found solid yellow apps (as opposed to hollow) at the ACE Hardware in Richmond. $1.60 for 2. They looked pretty good quality. If you're really stuck or in a hurry, a marine store in Steveston probably has some (4/$6 or $7) right now...
