Eagle One Nevr-Dull questions

I tried this product for the first time yesterday after a wash and dry on my chrome exhaust tips. I tore off what seemed like a good size piece to polish the chrome. I have a few questions though...

1) How much is the right amount to polish?

2) Can you use the same piece over and over again? (Basically how do you know when it's not useable anymore?

3) I had a residue on my tips after I rubbed the wadding on it, should I let this sit for a while or should I immediately buff it out?

4) How hard should I rub to get a decent shine out of the chrome?

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

1) I've noticed that a 1-2" sq inch of wadding goes a long way.

2) Yes, I toss my piece when it is thoroughly blackened.

3) I let it completely haze, but I don't think it matters, I only do it, because it says to.

4) I don't think you need to let the Gorilla in you out when rubbing, just moderate "man-strength" will do just fine.

On a side note, I absolutely love this stuff, I've even used it to remove moderate surface rust from chrome.

Thanks! I think I did everything correctly except let the product come to a haze on the chrome. I will attempt again today...again thanks for your help!

NevrDull is ok. It has good cutting power but not the showtime type finish that Wenol blue and red can give. I use ND dipped in Brasso sometimes. Gives better cutting and finish.

be careful with the never dull

I have never had a problem with using it on exhaust tips, but I have had it scratch the sh$t out of one of my old Lincoln's chrome bumpers. This car is one of my babies with only 30,000 miles (87 Mark VII) I was not a very happy camper! I had it happen before years ago on an old Crown Vic and thought it might had been my fault, then it happened again with this car! I am always extremely careful and always used a new piece of wadding on a clean surface. I believe it might actually be something in the wadding itself that may have caused it. I no longer will touch the stuff.

Just trying to give heads up....

That's odd, because I've always found Nevr-Dull to just be more of a cleaner rather than having a big "physical" action. For example, its good for getting rid of dirt, but from my experience, it doesn't help eliminate fine scratches on those metal pieces.

However, it is an excellent cleaner.
