Eagle 1 Tire swipes.

Just used them tonight and get frustrated while using them on truck tires. I really need a spray to get the product down in the nooks..

I can never control a spray well enough :(

I do sympathize, almost all of my tires are *SUCH* a PIA to dress properly...sidewall textures, edge siping, you name it I`ll spend forever on it. I doubt I ever dress a tire in under five minutes and I`m trying like [heck] to do it as fast as possible. Some "features" simply require brushes, I can`t do it any other way without getting product everywhere.

Good idea for the brushes, just the foam ones?

These are available at my local Pep Boys also. They have the best detailing section of all the stores in my area. I got 3 packs ($2.88 or something each). Went back to find some bug remover and they restocked what I purchased so they are still getting new packs it seems.

NO, not the foam brushes, those never worked well for me (kinda surprised me how [crappy] they were IMO).

Per usual, I use natural-bristle brushes when that`s what I need. Boar`s hair, maybe a horsehair one...and whatever my "natural bristle toothbrushes" are. The BHBs I use are cut down so the bristles are short and stiff, but still long enough to get into places they need to. Gotta be a little careful that I don`t get splatter flung off, but I got the hang of the whole thing pretty fast.

Heh heh....I just don`t know how people get by without BHBs! I even use `em every time I dust in the house..they get into the corners of woodwork/etc. so well that I`d simply be lost without them.

Also, some of my Tire Dressing Applicators have a rather long nap...like those *other* kind of non-bristle paintbrushes (eh, can`t remember what they`re called :o ) that are foam but covered with a synthetic material with lots of tiny "fingers". It`s often long enough to get down into passenger car tires. Look for the Dressing Applicator gizmos with the revolving handle, they take replaceable pads that`re also good for dressing some other things.
