I had an 04 E46 M3 to detail on monday. The first time i seen this car it was clean, so wasnt expecting it to be in the condition that it was in when i got there, but thats the hard scottish winter for you :banned: :grinno:

The car was coated in snow foam from a foam gun to begin with. The foam was blasted off.



The car was re foamed again and washed with a wash mit using the two bucket process.



The car was clayed then washed again.



Basically i started with #80, as the car had no swirls or marks.

#7 to give some shine

#21 to give some protection

#16 as the top wax.



Wheels were done with meguiars wheel brightener



Arches with Meguiars super degreaser



metal with p21s metal polish soap.

Nice wet silver.

Have you had any problems with #21 bonding over #7?

Also, is #16 really still on sale over there?
 
Yeah #16 is still on sale over here and some people hold it in high regard. Its only recently that i have started using #26 which is also good. I only used the PC for #80, the rest was done by hand.
