E-Z Detail Wheel Brush

I've been thinking of buying the E-Z Detail Wheel Brush. I've always cleaned my wheels by hand and reached the backside and brake calipers through the holes in the wheels by hand as well.

But my method is not very effective. There are always places I can't reach.

What's been your experience with the E-Z Detail brush?

I been using this brush for cleaning the inside of rims for awhile and works very well for me. I'm on my 2 second one so far and on a few rims I had to moved the car a foot or so to clean behind the calipers on some cars, but most of the time it works like a champ for me. It's a must item to have.

You say you're on your 2nd one? Did the first one break or wear out? (Are you always up this early? I couldn't sleep! Went to be too early I guess! Haha):D

I'm on my 2nd one in 3 years, which I got late last year. It did break on the end where the handle is at, but it took one heck of a beating from me these past 3 years. It's worth the money in my book. I get up at around 4:45am everyday, kid has to go to school and myself to the perfect job around .:D

I just got one and I really do like it. It not only makes it easier to agitate whatever product you are using to clean the wheels, but it enables you to get into a lot more nooks and crannies.

It's also great to use in the engine compartment!

D!

I'm thinking of getting one in the near future. Will the brush scratch the finish on the face of wheels? Currently I clean them with a sponge, however I can't reach behind the wheels very well. The EZ brush would be perfect for that, but I'm just worried about scracthing the face.

Good brush, Bill. It allows you to easily get the backside of the wheels. Keep 'em cleaner and you'll be taking 'em off a lot less often to do the full job. Although I initially balked at the price for a stinkin' brush it's one of the must-haves, IMO. There's a similar Daytona red brush out now that's reported to be a bit stouter, PAC's price on the EZ is a coupla bucks cheaper than I've seen it anywhere else.

I picked up an el-cheapo clone at Autozone for 5 bucks for greasy, underhood duty. Cheap price, cheap construction... it won't last but like I sez, it's for places I don't want to use a $25 brush.

Sounds good. The one thing I'm rarely satisfied with is the backside of the wheels, unless I remove them.... and that ain't gonna happen every time I wash the car!!!:out: (Haha!):D

Thought you were retired.... what else ya got to do besides chase women and quaff suds?

I'll add my endorsement as well. I've had mine well over a year (I don't remember how much longer and I'm too lazy to search back through my invoices ). It has held up well, makes wheel cleaning easier and more effective, and I have not noticed marring of any variety.

I have been intending to pick up a second or third, jic mine breaks.

GET THIS BRUSH!!

Trust me, you will not be disappointed. I have had mine for about 3 years and I will get another one when this one breaks or wears out.

I love the brush also. I just wish they would make the shaft a bit more stiff, (no this is not a Viagra moment), it bends a bit too easily. If you get a bit crazy with it you will find your arms peppered with black dots, so be prepared. I can really get back into the inner wheels. For the engine its great too!

Cheers,
GREG
