I used leatherique to dye grey seats black. First attempt to dye after the prep was to use a brush. Results were less then perfect,... streaks and bubbles. I then sanded down the first couple of coats and applied the dye with an HVLP paint sprayer. With the sprayer you can't tell the difference between the dyed seats and stock. If you do plan to dye, by all means spray it on its faster, and the results are perfect. I suppose even a $40.00 airbrush would work, but if you have a compressor go with a HVLP spray gun.
