DWG vs. RMG?

i use both and like both. can't decide which one i like better. both are easy to use and look great. i would venture to say some of it depends on what color your using it on, and what you plan on using as a lsp. when using dwg i use upgp for lsp. when using rmg i use cmw as my lsp. i'm sure you could use dwg with cmw, not sure that i about using rmg with upgp or other sealants.

^^ as above... DWG is great as you can follow it with a sealant while RMG cleans nicely when machine applied and is great for topping with a wax. I also like RMG when I have to work in the sun - no issues even with rotary application :2thumbs:

I think DWG has a slightly more clinical wet look and RMG a tad warmer - hard to say really as they tend to get used on my different colour cars...

Please use the search feature, man. This is one of most commonly used terms on this board. If you've been reading at all, you should know what this means. You've been a member here for six years, and you still don't know what LSP means?

What is lsp? ;)

And the car color is black, with clear-coat...

:bow

I am well aware of that. However, it blows my mind that you've been here for six years, and you still don't have a clue what LSP means. Use the search feature, buddy.

It would have taken you less time to just type out what it means...

:D

What does 6 years have to do with anything?!

6 years and 70 posts... 95% of which have been in the last 2 weeks...

I don't come here to be insulted, I am sorry that I do not know what lsp means....thats why I asked!

If you don't want to answer to posters question, don't reply... buddy

:bow

You're lazy. Plain and simple. Use the search function or the "Secret Decoder Ring" post at the top of this forum.

The definition of LSP is found in at least 1,000 posts.

last step product. don't be afraid to ask questions, there is no dumb question....but, as you've noticed, some people beg to differ. The search feature of bulletin boards is brutal. plus on a search like "LSP" you will get two million "hits" and maybe somewhere on page 35 one of them will have the info you're after. there is an acronym decoder post around somewhere... check the stickies under the Car Detailing forum.

Thank you VERY much...

I did to a search before I posted the question, but came up with a lot of threads that had lsp in them, but never said what it was...

In fact, some threads referred to lsp as some sort of additive or chemical like this one...

"not every product bonds OK to 1Z products like these that contain LSPs and I'm..."

So I was confused and asked...

Thanks again for the response!

:waxing:

Is DWG more versatile than RMG?

It says that you can put anything under and over DWG...

So, you could put Meguiars #7 Show Car Glaze under DWG, and then Pinnacle Souveran over DWG?

It stands for "Last Step Product"

I can't believe people would right that much crap and babble on in multiple post when all they had to do was answer your question. Unbelievable !!

Get over yourself. It's the under lying principles, that you obviously don't or can't understand. I'm sorry if these concepts are beyond your capacity. Moving on...
