Dustless polish

Which polish produces the less dust with the pc? I used ZPC and it dusted pretty bad even spritzing the pad with water.

I'm new and have only used a couple of different lines of product, Poorboys and Optimum.

The Optimum did not dust near as much as the PB.

Best of luck.

Have to agree with the Optimum suggestions. OP dusted absolutely nil for me. I get crazy dusting with both the SSRs and Menzerna lines.

i don't mind some dusting in exchange for the performance that a polish can give me. i like the ssr line a lot

i would say imo the reason youre experiencing so much dusting with ssr and menzerna is youre use to longer working polishes, for instance when using a pc and menz ip or fp/fp2 i find that it breaks down within a matter of 30-40 seconds, depending on the speed youre tuned it will break down very quickly and that needs to go noted. maybe op products require longer working times which would eliminate the before mentioned dusting, anyhow i just ordered ops compound so looking foward to little to no dusting from what you all say. i had a lot of dusting with ip and speeds above 5 with pc, i get very little now i just wnat a different compound than the pi3000,hitemps heavy duty, which i actively carry now.

It is sensitive to a very thin, consistent buffing film. The usual apply product/smear a bit/start buffing method won't work properly, because when the film between the pad and the surface is thicker than necessary (even with 3-4 pea sized drops of polish), it will be chunky, sticky.

But when you immediately spread it by pulling a very thin film, which covers your whole working area uniformly, it will work as a dream. It won't dry out, it will stay stable, workable. It ensures optimal abrasive contact and film stability when you quickly spread it very thin. I use a DA with it always on speed 6 - even when spreading.
