Dusting Q

Ok, on most aggresive polishes (2.5/3/IP/83) they are to be worked until they start dusting. I do that, but then when i wipe off the dust, it will leave minor swirls/scratches where i just polished. I usually use a Plush MF and Adams DS. Does anyone have any tips?

You don't want to work it in until it starts to dust. Usually work it in until the product is transparent and looks clean. Mop it up while its wet and do a final wipe down with a fresh towel.

Eddie is correct. In addition to his good advice, remember that (with the exception of IP) they're aggressive polishes that normally *will* leave some micro-marring requiring a final run with a less aggressive polish/pad combo.

For example:

#83/2.5/PG/Extra ---> Finish with #80/2/IP/PP/MPP with a white pad ---> Burnish with #82/SSR1/FPII/MP/MPP with a green pad
