Duragloss Aquawax...

Been using AW for some time and am very impressed. So much so that I tried their qd and now their marine qd. I like to mix the marine qd with a couple ounces of AW. Great products!:2thumbs:

I'VE READ WHERE THE DG MARINE DETAILER IS AW ON STEROIDS. DON'T KNOW IF IT'S TRUE I HAVE'NT TRIED IT.

No! The Marine detailer is the regular detailer on steroids.

what he said. what works great is a 75/25 mix of dg 521 and aw. use it all the time for a good qd--especially removing brakedust on wheels. leaves a good slippery shiny finish. i buy both by the gallon.

I love me some AW. Bought a bottle about a month ago, and have been using it while drying after washing. I really cant tell a difference between it and OCW, so i lean away from OCW just because it was more expensive.

Use it like a QD after car is dry , blows OCW away in shine and clarity and no comparison in durability

Ordered a gallon of AW and 901 few days ago, can't wait to test them. So you guys say it looks better after it cures, does that mean you should wait if you wanted to layer it?

I'm sure I'm going to get flamed, but no need to layer this Aquawax. Once application is sufficient. You can spray and wipe a 2nd time to ensure complete coverage.

I've noticed that the paint surface get a little slicker/smoother after it cures a little bit.

Thats obviously very subjective and really dependent of surface preparation. Speaking of subjective, I have found AW is best suited as a monthly maintenance wax to provide base coat protection.

OCW looked a little better IMO than AW. I've gone through 2 bottles of OCW. I love it, but AW is a bit cheaper and available OTC. It's great on wheels and great as a maintainer with regular washes.

I used AW for the first time last weekend on my Mom's Victory Red HHR. I put it on over a fresh coat of 845,and the results were stunning! The AW left the finish VERY slick and shiny, and you can't argue with the price!!!

I don't know why I waited so long to try this stuff!

I'm not sure if it's better than Z8,but it's half the price!

Yes I know , just like with every product.

I put AW down on top of a fresh coat of ZAIO on my Dad's red 2007 Silverado, and it turned out stunning also. It was very slick and shiny, and the AW seemed to add some depth also.

I tried AW on top of the UPGP on my wife's white GTP. I think Z8 may look better with that combo, but the AW looks good too.

IIRC, 128oz. of AW is ~$30. 16oz. Z8 ~$18

The single spray bottle of AW that I got was $7.50 from Autogeek.

I'm seriously considering buying the gallon size of AW next time!
