duragloss 105 tpp

True Teflon is a powder...................it can be blended using binders to make it liquid , however Teflon within itself will not adhere to a surface unless heated.I have researched......I have used this Teflon since 1991. If you read ,It has to be combined with a accelerator to make " MOLECULAR HEAT " then it will bond with the paint.

Yes I do have my products made .....That is why my friend I said if you don't believe me contact the company that makes it for me...make he can explain it to you better than I can. Miracle Finish.........the are in Georgia, The guy's name is Dave.
I have bought this particular formula from him for over 10 years. and again it's a process, you just don't rub it on. So I am sure for most guys on this forum ....they wouldn't go through the trouble of buying it, because of the cost. and the process of applying it.

This formula was originally invented in Florida by Dr. Crawford, he now owns a chemically company in Penn. And to further back up what I am telling oyu, you can contact Bruce Micichi of Diamond Lustre in Lancaster ,Penn. If you subscribe to any professional car washing raggs he advertises in there every month. Every once in a while .....look outside the box if you want to be on the cutting edge of your detailing competitor

Why would I need to contact anyone when DuPont themselves - the inventors/accidental finders of PTFE (Teflon) - stated publicly that Teflon adds no value to car care products? I think that speaks enough volume that ANYONE would understand it. Apparently, some folks are still gullible enough to fall for the marketing scheme.

I'm sure the people selling you the "Teflon-epoxy" have nothing to gain by selling you on some marketing jargon....:inspector:

The Teflon (PTFE) topic is a well worn one here. I'm pretty sure that all of us already have opinions that won't be moved anytime soon. And it would see the topic is far removed from the OP's initial query.

You're right. No use continuing this - no one is going to change their opinion, even when they're wrong. :)

reason's 1.
cost factor it's about $200.00 now for the Teflon per gallon with the pre-treatment
2. It is a process, and to train employees to do it precisley everytime.well......
3. it has to be the right temp to put it on as in the summer when humidity is high it sticks up, in the winter it won't heat enough enough to penetrate the surface
4.There are other products that are easier to apply, have as slick of a finish, but don't last as long.

What I use is a polyester paint sealer STS-2000.......it maybe available through some car brite dealers. I get it from my car brite guy

the product's name is sts-2000..you asked where to get it. I market it under my own name so there is your weird part ...I guess. It's all about branding your name your service. when there is 35 other detailer's in the phone book.............. you need to offer something they don't have or do

Many company's will private label their products for you if asked. They just want to sell you their product

I know I understand the concept, not uncommon but we are far off the path of discussing the OP's original RFI. Why not leave this one alone.

yes true.................. people like to wander, on the same note people on here like to stir the pot as well !LOL

This is a true statement. Spirited debate is a great thing and keeps the forum lively and fun but occasionally someone does this simply for the sake of doing so. Taking a shot at another member is no way to make a forum a fun place, it also alienates new members and visitors. More importantly from my soap box it makes more work for the staff. The key here is for all members to make sure their posts fall into the "spirited debate" category rather than the "taking a shot at someone" category.

Stepping down from my box and off stage. ;)

To get back to original topic, DG 105 is the best bang for the buck AIO on the planet IMO and IME the most durable when applied over DG PBA. I am enamored with BFWD right now, but DG105 is more durable and is the best wheel sealant ever IME FWIW.
