OK, thanks for responding...I thought I remembered something about your doing that.

spookertunes said:What "high end coatings" are you using? And, don't ya mean horizontal surfaces.?
Picus said:Cool results on the NuFinish.Same experience as me re: Poliseal. I really like Poliseal as a decent chemical cleaner/light abrasive and I like how easy it is to use, but I've had little in the way of protection/durability with it.
Rob Tomlin said:Not a problem for me as I have never and have no plans to ever use an AIO without topping it with an LSP. When you have sealants available like Opti-Seal that take less than 10 minutes to apply, why not throw some on after the AIO?
yakky said:Agreed, though, getting the truth on what is designed to sheet is like looking for a needle in a haystack. There are two products I have ever seen that claimed to sheet, and really, only one bottle, and that was some TW stuff a loooong time ago, in the late 90's. .
spookertunes said:I remember that...Autofom, wasn't it?
I recall being way less than impressed with it.
yakky said:Why not use Powerfinish (or other 1 stepper) and get a better surface instead of the AIO if you are doing two steps?
Rob Tomlin said:Does Powerfinish do chemical cleaning and have some minor abrasives in it? I want both.
yakky said:Granted I have a much older bottle of DG101, but in my opinion, its not the same stuff as ZAIO. DG101 looks much wetter than ZAIO.

yakky said:I can't remember if Autofom (with Fomblin-A!!!) was supposed to sheet, but I do remember it looked terrible. The stuff that advertised sheeting might have been a TW product.
bcwang said:No, Autofom was a bluecoral product, and I don't remember it saying anything about sheeting. It didn't bead very well though, or last very long.
I remember the turtle wax product that claimed to sheet, it was in a blue bottle with a white twist cap though I can't remember the name, had some sort of 3m ingredient in it I think. I might have the bottle still sitting in my parents home right now. I never did think it really sheeted all that well, it still beaded like other car waxes though maybe it released water a little better.
