dsms detail - Vengeful Girlfriends...

Wow, I am VERY impressed with the quality of work on this one!!

Great job, great pics and great write-up!!

One of the best threads I have seen in quite a while... Keep up the great work.

That was a great job! Just a pet peave of mine, looking at the inside of that car, why is it, when someone brings their car into you to get detailed, they leave all the clutter laying around??? I know if that was me, I'd at least tidy up and remove clutter!

OP, fantastic work. one thing i find hard to do is detail cars to that level for people who don't do a damn thing to maintain their vehicle themselves. even if the price is right, i still find it frustrating.

and i'll tell you what- if that was me, i'd have filed a police report on that broad!

EDIT: that driveway...you are the black STI detail, aren't ya!

Dave,

As I have commented on this thread in other forums this is truly the highest level of correction that is on par with anyone anywhere cudo's!!!!!!!!!.:bow

I bow before a Master - Amazing work!

Gotta get me some of them little pads, I like what they can do in the hands of someone who knows what he is doing.

Now if only the someone could be me! ;)

Mike

man, if anyone flames you, they need to be shot... excellent work!!

Haha, I just was covering my *** essentially. It has happened before but once I explained that I simply use a lesser known brand that I really like and I say so in my write ups people start to get it and also as I said if I was using a new sealant from Zaino nobody would bat an eye.

I dunno about this "master" stuff but thanks, and those 4inch pads are just the cyclo pads I used with the edge adapter on my Makita. I have real 3inch pre-polymer foam pads for my makita now and they are far superior.

Im really not sure if he broke up with her or not.. remember I only heard his side of the story, I think he may have said something really bad to get the "high heel" treatment on his car:shocked.

Anyways its a moot point...she screwed it up and I was left to fix it and luckily I was able to because I didnt think it could be done until I began the job. I fear however this car will look similarly unkempt in the near future, minus the scratches.

...all that effort for people who could care less:hairpull

Looks so much better it doesn't even look like the same car! :wow:

Just to play devil's advocate here, hard to tell for sure how well the scratches were removed since the camera angle and lighting are different in some of the before and afters. :nixweiss

In any event, the overall appearance of the car both inside and out is spectacular, especially in light of the starting point. That car was in atrocious condition.

Yeah, you'd think that. Even worse (and I am sure other pro's can back me up on this) is that someone will make an appointment maybe 1 month in advance and it is obvious when you see the car that absolutely no effort has been made during that month to keep the car clean.
